Mt. Hope Community CRC is a congregation within the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA). Based on the scriptures, adhering to the Ecumenical and Reformed Creeds and the Church order, we commit ourselves:
To glorify God.
To disciple and care for one another.
To share the message with the world that Jesus Christ is Saviour and Lord.
Our Mission Statement
“To glorify God as a vibrant community of disciples that actively and joyfully serve one another and our community.”
Our Vision: Grounded, Growing, Going
A tree is often used in scripture as a parallel to a healthy faith. Psalm 1:3 tells us “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yield its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers” It is the picture of a Christian’s walk with Christ, and is strongly related to our Reformed view of faith. Our vision for us as individuals and as a congregation is to be:
Grounded in God's Grace
Like a tree that needs roots and nourishing soil, we are a people and church who are rooted in Reformed tradition and theology, which is nourished by God’s Word and Christ’s saving grace.
Growing in God's Love
Like a tree that grows tall and strong in time and with care, we are a people and church who are becoming more Christ-like and Spirit filled as God works in our hearts and minds to grow closer to Him.

Going to Serve
Like a tree that bears fruit in season, we are a people and church whose nourishment and growth allow us to go and make disciples of all nations, being the hands and feet of Christ to our community.
